Job Title: Receptionist

Job Description
We seek a diligent and reliable individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Office Assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support across the organization and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the office space. He/she will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing exceptional service to clients and administrative support to the team, and will have a keen eye for details and a proactive approach to ensuring a clean and orderly work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors warmly and courteously as they arrive at the office or reception area.
  • Answer and direct clients, and vendors promptly and professionally, taking messages as needed to appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Clean and sanitize all areas of the office including desks, tables, chairs, and other furniture.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the office by ensuring the things are arranged properly.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including those related to safety, security, and confidentiality.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs,
  • Wipe and sanitize surfaces in areas like the general office, MD’s office, kitchenette area etc.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining office common areas.
  • Assist in organizing company events (Setup) and activities.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment.
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and guidelines provided by management.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, and lifting.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with office staff and visitors.
  • Proven experience as an office assistant, or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with office equipment and procedures.

Qualification: SSCE, OND, etc

Salary: 50,000
