Job Title: Operations Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Operations Officer for an Events Production and Design Company who can deliver innovative and disruptive event experiences. You will be the mastermind in bringing event ideas to life. Being able to source the right vendors, identify the best materials for installations, and have a good grip on measurements and dimensions is key. Staying calm under pressure, troubleshooting, and working with several teams, as well as juggling multiple projects is essential.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Identifying clients’ requirements and expectations for each event.
  2. Brainstorming and implementing event concepts and themes.
  3. Sourcing the right vendors and materials for event installations
  4. Negotiating with vendors
  5. Deducing the ideal dimensions for event installations.
  6. Preparing event budgets and processing invoices.
  7. Preparing Project plans before every event and ensuring events are executed within budget.
  8. Managing set-up, tear-down, and clean-up operations.
  9. Anticipating attendee needs and making preparations against potential risks.
  10. Developing post-event reports on the effectiveness of each event.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management with a track record of handling successful events.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A good team player
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Ability to lead a large team and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills.

Additional Requirements

Qualification:  B.sc in Social Science, Arts or Sciences from a recognized university

Place of Domicile: Our desired candidate should live within Lekki and its environs.

Ideal Age: 22-40
